Stop Arms Fairs in Eurobodalla (SAFE) is a group of concerned citizens alarmed that local council have approved Gun Sales in a public building in Narooma.
SAFE wants to keep the community informed about the Huntfest event to be held in our Sport and Leisure Centre on the Long weekend in June for the next 3 years. In November 2015 our local council Eurobodalla Shire Council against the wishes of the majority of residents approved the South Coast Hunters Club to allow the sale of guns, ammunition and have a mobile firing range at the event. SAFE are very concerned with the lack of community consultation regarding this event and subsequent sale of guns and of the encouragement of a gun culture in our community.
