Website Frontpage

Over the past 200 years we have hammered the natural ecosystems of Australia because we didn’t know better. Now, with an extinction rate that rivals any country in the world, we must act to protect precious wildlife, water, soil, & carbon-storing trees. Mogo and the other State Forests of Eurobodalla Shire are OUR forests, our home. Friends of the Forest is a proud member of the Australian Forests and Climate Alliance (AFCA) and the Places You Love (PYL) Alliance.

Friends of the Forest (Mogo) highly commends the initiative of the Forest Embassy to draw together the efforts of all the conservation campaigns, big and small, working to bring an end to native forest logging in Australia once and for all. The ideal time to establish serious hardwood plantations was thirty years ago. The next best time is NOW.

We inform the local community about native forest logging to empower the industry's transition to plantations - to save threatened species and carbon emissions.
