Voices of the Valley is a community group that formed during the Hazelwood mine fire. VotV is now working for a just economic transition of the Latrobe Valley.
Statement of Purpose
1. Protect and inform the Latrobe Valley Community
2. Tap into the ideas of the community.
3. To advocate for resources on behalf of the Latrobe Valley Community
4. To identify risks and needs and funding required to meet these
5. To advocate on behalf of the health and well-being needs of the Latrobe Valley community
6. To collect, retain and disseminate data of relevance to the health and well-being of the Latrobe Valley community
7. To establish and maintain networks with community groups and members, government bodies and others.
