FoE FNQ is the local branch of FoE Australia and FoE International – the largest network of affiliated environment/social justice groups in the world, which is based in over 70 countries, with each group having broad autonomy to set its campaign objectives.

Over the last year, FoE FNQ has kept up pressure on the issue of coal seam gas as well as land clearing in the area and on Cape York and water quality in the Barron River and on the Great Barrier Reef. We also played a supporting role in various other campaigns in this region and internationally. More details are on the website at http://foefnq.org.au
