Margaret River Regional Environment Centre Inc. (MRREC) is a not-for-profit group based in the stunning Cape to Cape region of South Western Australia. Our centre has been developed to promote the values of conservation and awareness of our local environment in particular and of the world environment in general. We believe it is essential to balance the demands of growth and developmental pressures against the need to preserve, protect and enhance our natural environment.

The Centre's income is derived from memberships, donations, fund-raisers and occasional grants. We rely on the involvement and support of the local community to achieve real outcomes for our natural environment and for the present and future enjoyment of all.

We now have a community shed for environmental activities - but it badly needs fixing so it can be a go-to place for people concerned about environmental issues in our region. Let's do it together. Please donate to our Chuffed campaign now!

MRREC promotes environmental awareness, activities and communication. We facilitate networking and collaboration between local community members and other environmental groups, indigenous groups and government agencies. Our group encourages and supports community members to feel empowered and to be proactively involved in issues they are concerned about.
